Insurance Marketing - Grab Their Attention

Insurance "Fear Selling" and marketing is out and friendly neighborhood service and trust is in says the Insurance Agent Marketing Association; and branding experts around the nation do agree. Turns out the softer sell is working and the public is responding positively by logging onto various insurance corporation websites and even local insurance agents websites and typing in their information for free rate quotes. Indeed, they are selling insurance, so it is working very well.
All this sounds all well and good but it certainly is not as easy as you might think. You see, first you have to find a way to grab the attention of the potential insured and disrupt them, and figure out how to get them to go to the computer to go the web site. Then once there they must be confident that their information they type in will be secure, or that the questions asked are not too private in nature in order to get that free quotation on their future insurance policy.
Without the use of fear, the insurance-marketer must find a way to do all this, and yet still grab their attention. Humor works well, but how can a local insurance-agent create a humorous advertisement that can compete with the likes of an Aflack duck, a Gieko gecko, or a Caveman? Good question indeed, still without a way to grab their attention and get the consumer to act, then all the dollars spend on such advertising and marketing is wasted. Therefore, one must concentrate first on a friendly disruption, and then a call to action. Please consider all this
